Under our initiative, Rotary Arogya Mission, we organized a free health checkup camp at Birateshwar Vriddha Ashram, an old age home in Biratnagar, in collaboration with Awadh Narayan Memorial Clinic. Our Charter President, Rtn. Dr. Mamta Verma, conducted the checkup for the senior residents of the ashram. She also prescribed medicines, which were provided to the residents free of charge.

The total cost of the project was 5,000 NPR. A total of 65 senior residents of the ashram benefited from this health checkup camp. Organizing such health checkups in old age homes allows for early detection of health issues, provides personalized care, reduces hospital visits, and helps in managing chronic diseases. Ultimately, it contributes to improving the overall quality of life for the elderly residents.
