As part of its focus on Peace Building and Conflict Prevention, the Rotary Club of Biratnagar Downtown organized a training session on “Protecting Children in the Digital Age” under the Youth Service Program. The session was held at the club’s adopted school, Shree Janta Bal Adharbhut Vidyalaya, Jehda, and was conducted by Mandira Shrestha, an experienced professional from the Child Safe Net Organization.

The training aimed to equip students with the necessary tools and strategies to protect themselves from potential online risks while safely navigating the digital world. A total of 65 students from classes 8, 9, and 10 benefited from the program.

The total cost of the program was 4,500 NPR, and it served as a vital resource to raise awareness among young individuals about online safety, empowering them to make informed decisions and ensuring a safer digital environment.
